New collective bargaining contract signed, miners in FBiH from 1,050 to 1,400 KM

Salaries of miners in the FBiH in the coming period will amount from 1,050 to 1,400 KM depending on the mines and their production results, is one of the provisions of the Collective Agreement for the mining industry, signed by representatives of the trade unions and the Government of FBiH today in Sarajevo.

The President of the Independent Union of Workers of the FBiH Mining Sinan Husić said that for them the most important thing is the introduction of a chapter on Solidarity, according to which the employer is obliged to take on the employment of one of the immediate family members of the deadly mining miners. I

he said that union representatives will now attend the meetings of the supervisory boards of the mines, and that the minimum timetable is increased from 2.40 to 2.50 KM, while other fees remain at the same level, without negative changes for workers.
