Sinan Sakic passed away: Famous singer lost a battle with severe illness

He was one of the most famous singers of folk music at the age of 62.

Sinan Sakic left behind almost 30 albums, his wife Sabina, with whom she has been married since 1981. Behind him were the sons Rasheed, Medo and Allen and daughter Djulkica. The last album Sinan recorded in 2014 under the name "Jedina". Concerts in Belgrade were his favorite, and the last one was held in front of 12,000 people on June 3 at his favorite place - Tashmajdan.

Sinan Sakic was born on October 13, 1956 in Loznica, and started his career in 1978 with songs "Rastanak kraj reke" and "We met very late". The great musical talent he has shown many times inherited from his father who played in the military orchestra. Since the 1980s, it was part of the composition of the famous "South Wind", in which it was until 2001. One of the biggest hits ever sung in this area is "Hey, since I was born".

In 1982, Sinan recorded the album "Say All Desires". Thanks to him, he became one of the most popular folk singers. He left behind almost 30 albums, Sabina's wife with whom she was married since 1981, as well as two sons - Alena and Rasid. Rasheed was sentenced to 12 years in prison for the murder of Dragoljub Despotovic in Loznica in May 2002. Sinan recently admitted that his son was in prison only once.
