The United States is threatening the UN with the deprivation of financial resources

The United Nations General Assembly has trumped Trump's decision on Jerusalem's status by two-thirds majority, although the United States has threatened to reduce its financial assistance to that organization. 128 countries voted for a non-binding resolution and 35 were absent. The nine countries that voted against were, with the United States, Israel, Guatemala, Honduras, Marshal Islands, Micronesia, Nauru, Palau and Togo.
