The situation is tense, the Slovenian police ordered the Croatian fisherman to leave the Slovenian sea!

SLOVENIA will start applying the Arbitration Tribunal's decision from Saturday to determine its borders with Croatia.

The implementation will start where it is easiest - at sea. Croatia does not acknowledge the decision of the Arbitration Tribunal, considering that it was compromised by the influence of Slovenia on the judges, and therefore withdrew from the arbitration proceedings. However, Croatian court arguments were not accepted and replaced by judges and continued with the process and finally made a decision that Slovenia largely lost on land, but got what it really wanted - the passage to international waters.

The Croatian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Affairs has urged Slovenia to refrain from unilateral implementation of measures aimed at attempting to change the situation on the ground and on a constructive dialogue on border issues, the Ministry said.

Police have told Croatian fishermen yesterday to behave normally in their activities, but they do not go all the way to the middle of the Savudrija valley, so as to not cause incidents, a minor incident occurred yesterday. According to the fishermen, the Croatian patrol boat had to stop between the Croatian fisherman and the ship of the Slovenian police, who approached her. After that, all the ships were withdrawn.

The fishermen started fishing this morning, one received a warning from the Slovenian police

The fishermen started fishing for about 4-5 hours this morning, part of them returned about eight hours. One of them told N1 that the Slovenian police approached a boat and told the fishermen to leave the Slovenian sea. "The fishermen continued to fish under Croatian police escort," he discovered.

He also said that at least two police ships are accompanying Croatian fishermen this morning, and that they usually have one to four.

"We, the fishermen of this region, want to remain calm, not to have any repressive activities, so as not to escalate relations between Croatia and Slovenia. We know that this is a political project by Slovenia at the expense of Croatia," said the fisherman.
