Strong winds caused problems throughout the FBiH
The traffic on the section of the main road M-18 Olovo-Kladanj (Karaula crossing), which was interrupted due to felled trees, was restored.
This was confirmed by a spokeswoman for the Federal Civil Protection Administration, Majda Kovac, stating that the trees from August on the Karaula transit have been removed in the meantime and that the traffic on that part of the main road has been normalized.Summarizing the effects of the storm, accompanied by strong winds in certain parts of BiH, Kovač said that at several locations the wind caused some material damage, and that there were no other consequences.
She pointed out that, according to the FUCZ Operational Center, damage to the tin roof was registered at a house in Hadzici, where the team of the Volunteer Fire Brigade was sent to Hadzici.At the same time, the Professional Fire Unit of the Sarajevo Canton was sent to intervene in the streets of Nasihe Kapidzic-Hadzic and Bosanski Gazisi, or a site near the Heca market, where the KJKP Park teams were already intervening.
Also, the scaffolding on the building of the Presidency of BiH, due to the blow of the wind, collapsed, and in that accident, fortunately, there were no injuries.In the area of Bihać and Tuzla, where the wind of lower intensity was blowing, no damage or interventions were recorded.Kovač further states that in Zenica, the trees were broken down to a lesser extent, and that teams of firefighters and civil defense on the ground, where they are engaged in the removal of broken branches.According to the data of the FUCZ Operational Center, there was no wind, and therefore no need for interventions on the subways of Travnik, Mostar, Gruda and Livno.
