Four more people were arrested with Hamdi Abdić Tigar

A total of five people were arrested in the operation of the Federal Police Administration in the Una-Sana Canton area.

Hamdija Abdic Tigar, a former commander of the Fifth Corps of the BiH Army, was also among the arrested, on suspicion of being responsible for the murder of General HVO General Vlado Santic.

General Vlado Santic, who during the war commanded the HVO units in the Bihac area, was missing since March 8, 1995. Šantić was last seen in the evening at the Sedra Hotel.

Witnesses whose statements were quoted by local media claim that Santic was taken from the hotel by members of the military police of the 502nd Brigade of the Fifth Corps, and since then, his tracks have been lost.
In 2014, the protected witness discovered the details of the disappearance and liquidation of General Santic. According to these allegations, the Sedra hotel was taken to the military police command and then into the house of the girlfriend of one of the suspects, where he was killed with four bullets.

Shantić's body was inserted into a barrel filled with petrol, oil and diluent, and then a barrel was taken to the sink on the slopes near Bihać. The mortal remains with the remains were soon found, but the DNA analysis of those mortal remains was never performed.

The investigation into the disappearance of General Santic was conducted on two occasions in 1995 and in 2006 when the case was taken over by the Federal Police Administration, and then the case was again returned to the Cantonal Prosecutor's Office Bihac.

So far no indictment has been filed in the case of General Santic's disappearance.
