Boxmark, about five kilometers from Varazdin, in a complex of 30 thousand square meters produces covers for the seats of the world's most famous car brands; every day for as many as 1600 cars. Everything they produce, they export.The government has just received HRK 3.7 million in non-refundable support to encourage investment. "Boxmark is the fourth largest exporter in Croatia, employing more than 4,000 people," said Martina Dalić, Minister of Economy. All amount will be invested in the modernization of the plant.

Qualified staff

Workers could be several hundred more, the director says. Covered new machines are waiting for them ready, but the development of the company has been limited for some time by the lack of qualified staff on the market.

"We are looking for qualified sewing, above all, we are also looking for workers for work in the tailor shop, we are also looking for associates for customer relations, we are looking for administrative professions and so on," says director Tomislav Cesarec .That the conditions are quite good, says the siding manager."We also had a salary increase in the last year two or three times, travel expenses are also borne by the employer and additional benefits of a type of spa, discount on electricity," says Veronica Goričanec.
