Sarajevo: Celebration of the 400th anniversary of the death of Hasan Kafi Pruščaka
In the premises of the Gazi Husrev-bey's Library in Sarajevo today marked 400 years since the death of prominent Bosniak intellectual and scholar Hasan Kafi Pruščaka, Anadolu Agency.
The event "400 years of works by Hasan Kafi Pruščaka" is prepared, organized by the Board of Education and Science of the Islamic Community in Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Institute of Islamic tradition of Bosniaks, Faculty of Islamic Studies and the Oriental Institute of the University of Sarajevo. The event was organized in three segments including the exhibition that are displaying manuscripts Hasan Kafi, scientific meeting that brought together prominent exhibitors who have dealt with the topic of work Hasan Kafi, and promotion of the book about the life and work of Hassan Kafi Pruščaka.
The publication, which is the extensive work of Hassan Kafi Pruscakova contains a reprint of the original work in Arabic, its translation in the Ottoman language and other translations. Also, this publication contains a translation into Turkish and English, his biography in Bosnian, Turkish and English, and bibliography Pruščakovih works and works on Pruscakova.
As she pointed out the director of the Institute of Islamic tradition Bosniak Dzevad Šuško, Hasan Kafi Pruscak is among the first Bosnians who He studied Islamic telogiju. He was a political philosopher, he was also linguistics, and one of its most important part of the "Foundations of wisdom on the regulation of the world".
"This work was written in the late 16th century in Arabic, and then personally translated into Ottoman Turkish. After that, followed by translations of the works of the French, Hungarian and German, and the translation into Bosnian done by Safet Basagic 1919 "said Susak.
Organizing and holding of this event is of great importance for science, culture and history of Bosnia and Herzegovina, said Minister of Education and Science Elvira Dilberović.
"It really should be the responsibility of all outstanding talk about Pruscakova, superior intellectual, because his work and actions left a huge contribution in the fields of science, culture and tradition. The fact that his original manuscripts in libraries today in Vienna, Berlin, Bratislava, Istanbul, Paris , Leipzig, Cairo, Dresden as well as in the United States speaks volumes about the need for this conference which forms a central part of today's event. The book of Hassan Kafi Pruscakova the necessary written testimony that speaks to the richness of scientific, historical, intellectual, and cultural heritage we possess, "said Dilberović.
The event was attended by Reis-ul-ulema of the Islamic Community in Bosnia and Herzegovina Husein ef. Kavazović, Rector of the University of Sarajevo Muharem Avdispahic akadmik Enes Karic and numerous other representatives of the educational and cultural institutions in the country.
