MANIPULATION: Here's how Google helps Hillary Clinton (VIDEO)

Google has the power to change the thinking and the way in which a voice using the automatic word completion (autocomplete) in suggestions when you searchHow it works, reveals American psychologist-researcher Dr. Robert Epstein in an exclusive interview .. Why did we start using the application autocomplete? Do you have something in mind that application?

Google's autocomplete application is different from the suggestion that when you search offering Bing or Yahoo. Bing and Yahoo show eight to ten suggestions that reflect the way other people carry out search.I Google it used to work, but lately showing people more than four suggestions, but they often have little to do with how other people perform a search.

So what do they do?

In June SourceFed (web page and channel that is broadcast via YouTube) released a video in which he claims that Google combats negative suggestions when you search related to Hillary Clinton; saw it went viral, while Google denied claims SourceFed.

I wondered whether SourceFed right and also I became curious. Why would Google downplayed the negative suggestions for one candidate? What's the point?

What then have you done?

Two things. First, my people and I started to look for specific claims is SourceFed presented. We have confirmed that Google often displays a very positive suggestions when you search for Clinton, while Bing and Yahoo show a mixture of positive and negative. We also found that Google shows the positive things about the Clinton even when their own information search (Google trends) testify to the fact that people are actually looking for negative information. We have confirmed and Sourcefedovu claim that Google sometimes showing negative information about other people, including Trump, while denying negative about Clinton.

Are your findings were fully consistent?

No, we have found also that there are some exceptions to the rule - a situation in which Google showed negative suggestions when you search in connection with Clinton and even somewhat positive suggestions for Trump. So they SourceFed claims in principle were correct, although a little exaggerated. However, you discovered something else, is not it? Something more important than the form of suggestions for search when it comes to Clinton and TrumpThat's right. I wanted to find out why Google might suppress negative suggestions in searches for some people, so I spent online experiment with 300 people from 44 states in order to see whether to negative suggestions relating remotely differently from neutral or positive.

Extensive research in several areas has shown that the negative stimulus attracts far more attention than neutral or positive - like that when you see a cockroach in the salad and in a panic throw the whole salad bowl.

So what do you find?

I was shocked by what I found. Maybe I should not, but I was. I found three things.First, men are twice as likely to click on such a negative suggestion than it would have done so by accident. What is negative not only draws attention, it increases the number of clicks.Second, negative suggestions are especially attractive to undecided voters - people who decide the outcome of close elections. They are clicking on them 15 times more often than the neutral things in control issues. And third, the Democrats are more attracted negative things about Republican candidates; Republicans are behaving exactly the opposite.

What does it all mean?

We know from previous research that the way in which the ordered search results can dramatically reverse the vote and opinion. We have now found that such suggestions may act in the same way. To the voices turned to one candidate, all you need to do is to push the negative suggestions search for that candidate - but not for his opponent.Over time, this will indicate the millions of people watch positive websites for candidates who support, while at the same time millions of state to view negative information about the opponent.

It's easy to change the situation with undecided voters in this regard which favored - for 20 or more percent and even 80 percent in some demographic groups. In this way you can change the thinking about anything at all.So, how many voters Google in this way can be reversed in the upcoming election? - Somewhere between 800,000 and 3.2 million.
