A new dangerous virus was attacked by smartphones

The principle rule for protecting against malware on Android is 'do not visit suspicious pages' and honestly - it works even today. The problem, of course, is one error that can happen to anyone and why you end up on the fake website of a mobile operator or your favorite web service - and after that things go downhill.

One such program is the malware Skygofree which, according to the security company Kaspersky Lab, has been evolving since 2014 and now uses spying methods that many did not know exist. This cunning malware encroaches on the user's phone through a fake site and afterwards uses the device as a spyware center. Skygofree can turn on the microphone and record sounds at precisely defined locations, it monitors traffic to the wi-fi network, and of course - it can light the camera whenever it suits it. It's awkward.

As with all malware to date, avoiding infection is relatively easy - double check the web address in the links and make sure that the sites you visit are official.
