VAR decided a clash between Sweden and South Korea
Great win for the Swedes
Sweden's national team has won today South Korea with a minimum of 1: 0 within the first round of the group stage of the World Cup in Russia.
Sweden managed to win at the opening of Mundial although South Korea played a very brave match, but in the end VAR decided to play in Nizhny Novgorod. We saw the first chance in the 20th minute when Berg was in front of the goal of Korea, but the goalkeeper of this team saved a goal by a unrealistic reaction.
It can be said that this was one of the worst half at the previous World Cup, but in the end of the match we managed to see the goal. A momentous moment occurred in the 65th minute when Granquist scored a big penalty in Sweden.
But the judge initially did not play the penalty for the Swedes, and only when the South Korean attack ended, he decided to consult the VAR assistants, after which he showed it at the white spot. By the end of the match, Korea tried to come at least to the point, but Sweden managed to defend their goal. Hwang missed the best opportunity when he scored with a head near the goal.
Sweden is currently ranked first in Group E with three points as well as Mexico, which surprised Germany yesterday.
